William and May Morris: A V&A Legacy

As part of our regular lunchtime lecture series, join curator Max Donnelly to discover more about William Morris, his daughter May, and their lifelong relationships with the V&A. 

This talk will reveal how, following William Morris’s death in 1896, May continued to promote his reputation as one of the driving forces behind the Arts and Crafts movement of which she was also a luminary. This culminated in her decision to bequeath to the V&A a significant legacy including designs and objects designed by herself and her father.
