A workshop that takes participants on a meditative sound journey rooted in Indian classical music/ancient sound traditions of India. Participants will be guided through exercises in noticing, listening, vocalising and finally practising together to record natural voices in resonance with The Globe installation.

ABOUT AMRIT KAUR
Hailing from Tottenham, acclaimed singer-songwriter, sarangi player and composer Amrit Kaur weaves Indian classical music, Punjabi folk, blues and soul into live performances rooted in storytelling and human connection.
Her immersive and deeply emotive soundscapes have taken her to stages including Glastonbury Festival,All Points East and the Barbican, as well as the UN General Assembly, where she performed alongside the Bob Marley family.
With over 15 years of experience in community building and facilitation, Amrit creates spaces where people can connect, express themselves and discover the transformative power of their own voices.
