Lunchtime Lectures: Rapid Response at 10, what we've learnt photo
Revealing truths about how we live together, Rapid Response Collecting focuses on connections between design and contemporary society. Initiated in 2014, the programme is an open invitation to suggest objects for the museum, and considers how design enables us to ask questions about wellbeing, our economy, society and technology’s growing impact. This lunchtime lecture is part of the closing month of celebrations for the Rapid Response Collecting 10th anniversary year, July 2024 – July 2025.

Join Senior Curator Corinna Gardner in this Rapid Response Collecting session to explore the interplay between design and society and collecting in the here and now.

Corinna Gardner is Senior Curator of Design and Digital in in the Art. Corinna leads the museum’s Rapid Response Collecting programme and her research focuses on product and digital design. She is also responsible for the Design 1900–Now gallery showcasing the museum’s 20th and 21st century design collections.
