V&A Performance Festival 2019
Trevor Griffiths’ groundbreaking 1975 play tells of a group of budding comics, who are hoping to impress an agent from London. The humour is a deadly serious business that also involves pain, anger and truth. In the atmospheric surroundings of our Museum, watch this screening of Sean Holmes' revival of the play, recorded at the Lyric Hammersmith in 2009 for the National Video Archive of Performance.
