An Evening at the Gilbert Galleries

The Gilbert Collection is a feast for the eyes – from dazzling stone and glass mosaics and jewelled gold boxes to masterpieces of silver and enamel.  In the newly transformed galleries you will have the chance to get up close to four exquisite objects specially chosen and showcased by the Gilbert Collection curators. They will share insights into the skill, innovation and creative ambition behind these remarkable objects, while also uncovering the rich and sometimes complex stories of their origins, ownership and arrival at the V&A.

The evening will conclude with a drinks reception in the Members' Restaurant.
