V&A Illustration Awards Collections Workshop
Come and join us for an exclusive workshop in the V&A Prints and Drawings Study Room, where you can get a closer look at award winning illustrations from the V&A's extensive collections.
This session will give an insight into the past works from the Illustration Awards, allowing you to learn and connect with decades of illustration. Examine the differing trends and styles of illustration in a unique opportunity to interact with the curatorial team, and engage directly with the materials that have defined the Awards. These 1 hour sessions will run on Wednesday 12th August 2026 and Wednesday 30th September 2026, at 10:30am and 11:45am.
The V&A Illustration Awards is a free, biennial competition celebrating excellence in illustration and contemporary practice, and judged by a panel of prominent illustrators and industry experts. The awards highlight a broad range of illustration styles and subjects. This display features the work of this year’s winners and runners-up from each of the five categories: Adult Factual, Adult Fiction, Advertising and Commercial, Emerging Illustrator and Illustration for Children.
The display is open from Thursday 2nd July 2026 - Sunday 4th October 2026, in Galleries 88a and 90.
