A Life in the Work of Others with Tom Hunter photo
Join us for an intimate conversation with photographer Tom Hunter as he reflects on a life shaped by the work of others — artists, communities, collaborators, and histories that have informed his practice over several decades.

Hunter is best known for his socially engaged photographic work, which often reimagines classical painting through the lives and experiences of people living on the margins of contemporary Britain. Rooted in long-term relationships and lived proximity, his practice blurs the boundaries between documentary, portraiture, and art history, foregrounding dignity, care, and collective authorship.
