As cofounder of acclaimed design studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS+R), and Professor of Architectural Design at Princeton University, Elizabeth Diller’s cross-genre work has been distinguished with the first MacArthur Foundation fellowship awarded in the field of architecture, and most recently awarded the Golden Lion at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.
Known for its focus on cultural and civic projects, DS+R’s work addresses the changing role of institutions and the future of cities, serving as thought leaders in how audiences engage with objects and how collections can be made more publicly accessible – making the studio a perfect fit to design and deliver the transformative East V&A Storehouse project.
In celebration of the first anniversary of the opening of this highly acclaimed public space, recently nominated for the Art Fund Museum of the Year 2026, join Diller and V&A Deputy Director and V&A East lead, Tim Reeve, for an exploration of the design process, reflections on the year since its opening, and a look at what comes next.
This talk will be streamed on Zoom and all ticketholders will receive a link to view the morning of the talk. It will also be recorded for those not able to join live.
