Bringing your work into digital formats opens up a world of creative possibilities – impossible colours; rapid iterations; infinite new textures. This course will give you the skills you need to get started: get to know Adobe Illustrator, develop confidence drawing with a graphics tablet, and take inspiration for new digital illustration projects from the world’s leading museum of art and design.

Working with expert illustrator Erin Aniker you’ll explore the museum, learning all the ins and outs of turning your sketches into vector artworks and working towards a brand new finished piece. Over two days you will learn how to add textures, use layers to organize your artwork, create repeat patterns and get to grips with the pen tool. What’s more, after the workshop, we will send you a giclée print of your final design.

This workshop is open to all levels. No previous experience is required.

Erin Aniker has created editorial, book and advertising campaign illustrations for clients including The Washington Post, The Body Shop, Tate and The V&A. Check out her illustrations on Instagram @erinaniker and www.erinaniker.com
