Book Reading and Draw-along with Ella Risbridger:The Great Mouse Orchestra

At this very special festive book event, you will hear bestselling author Ella Risbridger read the opening from her new magical book The Great Mouse Orchestra. Illustrator, Alice Courtly will then lead a draw-along inspired by the story, followed by a Q&A and festive craft activities.

The Great Mouse Orchestra is an irresistible story of Jeremy Larkin, a brave little mouse who sets off on a grand festive adventure, to find the Great Mouse Orchestra. Over one magical winter night, Jeremy sets out on his mission, helped by a bold little fox called Cleo, a squirrel boy called Antoine, a Pekinese named Eloise, and an all-girl Bat Gang. Will Jeremy find the Orchestra? Or will he find that - just maybe - it's been there all along? Featuring lots of activities - including recipes for Christmas spice cake and festive hot chocolate - this irresistible winter adventure is packed with frosty magic, warmth and wonder.

This event is aimed at children aged 3 - 8 and their adults. Both adults and children require tickets to enter, accepting babies-in-arms (under 12 months). Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.

There will be an opportunity to purchase copies of the Great Mouse Orchestra at the event and have them signed and dedicated by author and illustrator.

The events run at 11:00 and 13:00 and are 45 minutes long.

Please use our buggy park, as we don’t have a space for them in the workshop area and they can cause potential fire and trip risks.
