This workshop is in response to the temporary display Commercial Graphics of the 1930s, located outside the National Art Library. Showcasing graphic work, including posters, leaflets and advertisements, the display illustrate the emergence of modernist movements. Using techniques such as photomontage, bold colours and experimental typography, designers formed a distinct, innovative style that captured audiences and boosted the economy.

This event is part of Make & Meet, an evening of connection and creative making with free workshops and free food.
