Demystifying Museum Careers: The Role of the Interpretation Producer photo

Join us for the fifth instalment of the ‘Demystifying Museum Careers’ webinar series. Interpretation Producer Sophie Sage will be sharing insights into her role at Young V&A, where she focuses on the development of future family-friendly temporary exhibitions, as well as various interpretation projects across the permanent galleries. You’ll hear about how the V&A presents objects to family audiences in galleries and exhibitions alongside audio-visual content, interactives and graphics to tell engaging stories and narratives through our collections.

Sophie Sage is an Interpretation Producer at Young V&A who specialises in Family Interpretation. Sophie worked on the major redevelopment of Young V&A for 6 years, working on the Young V&A temporary and touring exhibitions as an Exhibitions Manager before becoming a Content Manager and Interpretation Producer.

V&A Academy is pleased to bring you this Continuing Professional Development webinar series to take you behind-the-scenes, and introduce you to museum jobs and to the responsibilities of caring for the collections.

This event will be recorded.
