How does a museum use digital technologies to enhance how visitors encounter their objects? Viewed through the lens of the V&A’s Photography and Digitisation Department, this talk focuses on the different techniques and technologies used to create digital documents of the V&A collection. Be that an ultra-high resolution image of The War of Troy tapestry, a 3D model of Michelangelo’s Prisoner or an x-ray of an oil painting by Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema.
