Rebecca is a sculptor based in London who makes work with a variety of media, including wax, resin and bronze. Her work draws on traditional methods (modelling, casting, lost wax casting) and meanings of sculpture, but reimagines these through feminist theories and personal experiences of the body. Rebecca's residency coincides with the opening of the exhibition, Donatello: Sculpting the Renaissance. The webinar will also feature an introduction from one of the curatorial team to some key works by Donatello featured in this landmark exhibition.

The webinar will be an opportunity for students to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary artistic practice whilst also drawing links to work from the Renaissance.
