Conceptual and data artist Rachel Ara is the V&A Research Institute’s current artist in residence. In her talk, she will discuss her practice, her residency research and response to the data, information and systems that the museum holds. She will also reflect on the mixed-reality work she showed at the V&A during London Design Festival in September 2018, which presented the Santa Chiara Chapel in the V&A Medieval & Renaissance galleries under an entirely new light. The V&A Research Institute is generously supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
