Online Curator Talk: Lucian Freud’s Etchings

Hear from the curator of the display, Gill Saunders, who will talk members through the trial proofs that tell the story of Freud’s long collaboration with master printer Marc Balakjian. Most of the trial proofs in the display have never been exhibited before; they include ‘Head of a Woman’ and ‘Self-Portrait: Reflection’, plus the copper etching plate for ‘After Constable’s Elm’.

This talk will be held on Zoom, and ticket holders will receive a link to view live on the morning of the event. The talk will also be recorded, and available to view for ticketholders after the event.
