Online Workshop: Botanical Illustration

Join artist and designer Silvia Ospina to create artwork inspired by nature, combining traditional hand-painted techniques with digital tools. Taking inspiration from Beatrix Potter’s naturalistic style, we’ll learn the fundamentals of sketching flowers and plants, before building on your design with your choice of watercolour, ink, or coloured pencil. Finally, Silvia will guide you in digitising your artwork, before teaching how you can use free online tools to design stationery, products, or digital templates featuring your unique design. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a botanical illustration ready to be printed on a variety of products, or shared with the world across social media.

This 3-hour event takes place over 2 days at lunchtime, from 12.00 to 13.30 on both days.
