Lunchtime Lecture: Lustrous Surfaces - Bringing to Light the V&A’s Lacquer Collection

Samsung Curator of Korean Art, Rosalie Kim, will talk about the creation of the Lustrous Surfaces display. Kim will discuss the variety of styles and techniques of Asian lacquer across the regions, and how these went on to inspire imitation of lacquer in the Middle East and in Europe.
