To celebrate International Day of Play endorsed by the UNICEF, Young V&A's Play Champions will host a day of free, creative play activities for children including those attending with educators and those coming with families and care-givers.

‘Where We Play’ with pre-booked groups from Early Years settings including nurseries and child-care schemes

Sound Explorers for 2s and under- a drop-in offer that invites babies and their adults to explore sound and song together in our Mini Museum

Pattern by Pattern for Under 5s - a drop-in offer that invites young creators to play with pattern, colour and shape in relation to the museum's architecture in the Town Square.
15:30-17:00
Play After School - Join the Play Champions to play and share after a day at school.
This activity is part of Young V&A’s Power of Play programme. The Power of Play is a collective impact consortium to bring quality learning-through-play to children in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The project is funded by the LEGO Foundation and coordinated by the LEGO Group in London. Young V&A is participating in the project alongside the Institute of Imagination, Save the Children, EasyPeasy and Ambition Aspire Achieve.
