Marian's daughter, Celeste Bell will lead a day of tributes and cultural performance. A screening of her award-winning documentary, Poly Styrene: I Am a Cliché will be followed by poetry readings, a panel discussion and a presentation on the archival collaboration she has forged with the Somali Museum, which will grant insight into Marian's (Poly Styrene) dual heritage and the socio-political commentary that governed her work.

In collaboration with the Poly Styrene Archive Estate of Marian Elliott-Said, Celeste Bell, and the Somali Museum.

A Programme Schedule will be available in due course.

This event is part of the wider celebration of The Music Is Black: A British Story Exhibition.
