Pop up Performance: 1 Click Away photo

This weekend of free performances are part of The Great Exhibition Road Festival.
This dance will take you on an adventure that explores the waste that comes from shopping and its effect on the planet.

Join in with the performance by helping to build structures. Make music from packaging and try balancing as many boxes as you can on your bodies. Through dance, let's explore making a difference together! Each performance will be followed by a short workshop exploring ideas from the performance.

This dance is by Greta Gauhe and performed by The Follow Through Collective.

Access Note: This performance is recommended for ages 5 and above. Younger children and siblings are welcome to attend but may require assistance from their caregivers. Please be aware that the performance involves sound produced by packaging materials, which can occasionally be loud. Additionally, cardboard boxes are utilized in the performance, and some dancers may be wrapped inside packaging materials, which could be frightening for younger children.

All activities are optional, and you can visit at any point during the event timings.

Each workshop is approximately 40 minutes long. Followed by a 20minute workshop. This event is free and drop in, performances start at 13:00 and 15:00. Capacity for this event will be limited. Please allow some extra time to queue for a space.

This is a family event for adults to take part in with their children; no child can be left unattended. Suitable for ages 5+.
