Meet the Artist

Come along and meet Emily, in a pop-up studio in our Learning Centre during February Half-Term. Emily is a multimedia artist working between ceramic, drawing and making. 

She will be exploring sustainability, recycling, repair, and material storytelling. Emily is inspired by the V&A’s metal and ceramics collections, particularly tools for repair and repairing museum objects.  

Families will be invited to explore the materials of objects in our galleries and create rituals to celebrate the organisms the materials are from.
