Chatsworth has been home to the Cavendish family, the heredity dukes of Devonshire from Elizabethan times until the present day. To mark a major exhibition at the stately manor, and book, House Style, Laura Cavendish, Countess of Burlington and Sarah Mower will discuss five centuries of fashionable history at Chatsworth.
From rare historic images to contemporary photographs of majestic dresses and splendid uniforms worn by the family to ride, hunt and celebrate, and with anecdotes about family members through the generations, the glamorous world of Chatsworth will be revealed.
