V&A Schools Live: Creativity and AI Make-Along with Designer and Creative Technologist Maria Than photo
In this live session hosted on Zoom, you will hear from Maria Than about her career journey and artistic practice. Maria is an artist, designer and creative technologist whose work explores migration, identity, and belonging using digital tools, drawing and storytelling, often working with communities and new technologies like AI.

Students and learners will get a chance to do a live creative make-along, and to use digital tools to develop their creative ideas. Maria will also encourage critical conversations about the ethical and creative challenges of AI - discussing when it can be a powerful creative support tool, and when it’s important to rely on your own skills, knowledge, and artistic voice.

There will also be a chance to put questions to Maria at the end of the session in a live Q&A.

National Curriculum links include Art & Design, Computing and Design & Technology, in addition to SMSC development.
