Playfully focused on Young V&A museum objects, this EYFS session helps children develop communication, language and making skills. Inspired by the ‘Sound it out’ alphabetical display in the Play gallery and led by a museum learning facilitator, children will get the chance to interact with museum handling objects, use their creativity to take part in playful making activities and finish with an interactive reading of How to be a Lion by Ed Vere.
Key curriculum links: Expressive Arts & Design, Communication & Language, Literacy and Understanding the World. Each session can accommodate 1 class (maximum 30 students). Suitable for nursery groups and Reception classes.
