View a stunning installation of mould-blown glass swallows made by Turkish artist Felekşan Onar as her artistic response to the plight of Syrian refugees in Istanbul. "Perched" refers to the way these refugees have landed in a chaotic city but are unable to fly or move - they are grounded, with nowhere to go. The Islamic Middle East Gallery provides temporary shelter to this flock of wingless birds.
