How We Made It with Bisila Noha photo
Join artist and writer Bisila Noha for a special edition of How We Made It, an invitation into process as it unfolds through reflection and live writing.

Working across ceramics, research and text, Bisila’s materially rich practice traces how objects hold and transmit meaning and memory across territories. Here, she opens up the inner architecture of her work, from the first gestures of research and sketching to writing as a method f or processing ideas and shaping form.

Through prompts, fragments and discussion, Bisila will experiment with writing as a collective practice, opening up space for reflection on making and the relationship between language and material.

Taking place shortly after the opening of the Museum, this event connects directly to the ideas explored in the Why We Make galleries, positioning making as a critical and intimate practice, one that unfolds between language and material and is continually shaped in relation to others.
