Join V&A Guide Tessa Hopkins for an in-depth exploration of the diverse influences that shaped the iconic Mughal style. This tour delves into the origins and evolution of Mughal art, examining not only paintings but also a range of media found in adjacent galleries, identifying motifs and materials imported and integrated into Mughal artworks of the 16th and 17th centuries. The journey also considers the historical context, beginning with the rise of the Mughal Empire and its vast wealth and power at its zenith.
