Sally Mann - Art Work (Livestream) photo
Award-winning photographer Sally Mann is known for her intimate black and white photos of subjects familiar but often rendered both peaceful while at the same time unsettling. A recent recipient of the Prix Pictet for her Blackwater series, her works can be seen in galleries and museums around the world, including the V&A’s current display American Photographs.

Mann is also renowned for her writing, with her 2015 memoir Hold Still named as a National Book Award finalist.

Join her in conversation with art historian Katy Hessel, author of The Story of Art Without Men for a discussion of Mann’s latest book, Art Work, a generous and thought-provoking look at the creative path – including the unpredictable role of luck, and the value of hard work.

This talk will be livestreamed on Zoom, and all ticketholders will receive a link to view the morning of the talk. It will also be recorded for ticketholders not able to join live.
