To celebrate the landmark publication of Yohji Yamamoto Drawings, join author and curator Alexandre Samson and Yohji Yamamoto’s executive advisor, Caroline Fabre.

Featuring never-before-published drawings selected by Yamamoto himself, the book offers a rare glimpse into the creative process behind his radical and enduring approach to fashion.

Flaming coats, slumped figures and elegant dresses: these drawings are far more than preparatory sketches. They reveal Yamamoto’s distinctive vision and his continual exploration of the boundaries of fashion, form and the body.

Written by Samson, with design support from Peter Saville, Yohji Yamamoto Drawings brings together menswear and womenswear sketches that have remained largely unseen until now.

For this special event, Samson and Fabre will discuss Yamamoto’s drawings and creative practice, exploring the ideas and influences behind the work and the enduring legacy of one of fashion’s most influential designers.
