Digital Meetup: Systems at Play

Developed with arebyte Digital Art Centre, get hands-on with emerging creative technologies that are shaping everyday life. Create glitch portraits, map landscapes from satellite data, explore generative visuals and meet the young artists at the forefront of creative code, robots and digital media. 

Throughout the evening you will be able to discover, test and question how human and machine interactions are shaping contemporary creative practices. 

As part of Processing Community Day, the evening will feature a community Show & Tell celebrating creative coding, digital art and interactive design. Want to share a project to be presented? Email us here to be considered for the Show & Tell.

Digital Meetups are a series of social events for digital artists and young people to share work, build skills and grow a creative community.

Activities are drop-in and unticketed, with spaces allocated on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the evening. Some activities require a laptop. Participants are encouraged to bring their own where possible, but a limited number of laptops will be available to borrow.
