Uma is a UK-based fashion designer with experience across a range of creative roles, including print design and fashion styling. Alongside her part-time work as a Digital Marketing Assistant, she is also the founder of the streetwear brand
Askari. Uma has always been deeply inspired by her Kenyan and North Indian heritage, which she explores through family stories, treasured photographs, and a strong connection to food and culture. These influences have become a defining part of her design identity, as she passionately blends her artistic vision with her dual heritage.
