Damsel Elysium x Friday Late: The Performative Object
Inspired by Martin Sigler’s perspective-shifting text “I am The Performative Object,” this Friday Late, curated by performance artist and composer Damsel Elysium, brings forth a night of Black diasporic surrealist artists.
Live performance, experimental play, quantum listening, and the exploration of hybridity allows us into a sacred, sensuous, and tactile experience of Blackness. Through metamorphosis we overcome alienation and step into objective reality, creating a space in which the in-between becomes lucid.
