Our guide will explore pieces in the V&A’s collection, to include silver and Judaica, many acquired in the 19th and 20th centuries by collectors of Jewish Heritage.
Discover fascinating pieces, many of which were acquired by wealthy individuals of Jewish heritage, who with the growing acceptance of Judaism as a religion in England in the 19th century, began to acquire works of art for their own pleasure. Some of these pieces were ultimately bequeathed to the V&A’s collections. The tour will include 17th and 18th English and European silver, decorative Judaica and a piece of Delftware.
