Join graphic novel artist Ahmed Raafat, whose comic book “El-Osba” is displayed in the
Making Egypt exhibition, and artist/museum staff Ellie Bird, for a hands-on character design and costume making workshop.
In this workshop, you will get to meet a special guest artist, Ahmed Raafat, the creator of graphic novel, “El-Osba”, to find out how he takes inspirations from his Egyptian heritage to create new superhero stories. You will have a go at designing your own superhero character through a collaborative drawing activity. You will then turn it into a wearable costume using a range of materials with the help of artist and museum staff Ellie Bird.
