An afternoon of conversation and performances led by theatre critic Matt Wolf, focusing on Stephen Sondheim’s musical Merrily We Roll Along.

Join award-winning actresses Jenna Russell and Samantha Spiro, actor Oli Higginson, musical director Nigel Lilley and students from the National Youth Music Theatre in a panel discussion, masterclass and performance centred on Sondheim's 1981 musical. Samantha Spiro won an Olivier Award in 2001 for her portrayal of Mary Flynn in the Donmar Warehouse production of Merrily We Roll Along. Jenna Russell was nominated for an Olivier Award in 2014 for the same role in the celebrated Menier Chocolate Factory/West End production directed by Maria Friedman, which is due to open on Broadway. Nigel Lilley is a celebrated musical director and supervisor whose credits include Follies at the National Theatre.
