Since the 1850s, when the Victoria and Albert Museum was established, the collections have grown through a series of acquisitions by curators, as well as being augmented through gifts and bequests. Join us for this talk where we will bring together museum curators, academics and art dealers with expert knowledge to discuss and debate the art market and the public museum.

This ‘In Conversation’ event is part of a series of events in the AHRC funded ‘Year of the Dealer’ Impact and Engagement project, led by the University of Leeds in collaboration with the University of Southampton.

After the talk a wine reception will be held; the event is free to attend but please register through our booking system.
