Free V&A Teacher Sanctuary In-person: AI, Creativity and Education
Join us at the V&A for a free evening of teacher CPD to discover the V&A collection objects, explore techniques with an artist, expand your own practice and enhance your teaching.

This after-work event for Primary and Secondary teachers offers a calm, sociable space to unwind, connect with other teachers, and explore fresh ideas for the classroom through the lens of the V&A’s collections. With wine, conversation, and guided input from a practitioner and an artist, you’ll leave with inspiration for museum visits and creative approaches to learning.
Inspired by the work of our current AI Artist in Residence, Maria Than, we'll be working with the collective Compiler (Tanya Boyarkina and Oscar Cass-Darweish), alongside design and education practitioner Trudi Barrow.
During the session, teachers will explore objects from the V&A collection alongside insight and discussions as well as some practical exercises, thinking about AI, creativity and education.
The evening will include time to share practice, ask questions, and take part in a low-pressure creative activity to support curiosity and practical classroom thinking. All materials and light refreshments will be provided.
