Ahmad Abo Aziz is a Syrian refugee entrepreneur from the ancient city of Aleppo. Founder of ‘Aleppo on a Plate’, he uses his traditional family recipes to create an authentic dining experience full of history, flavours & culture. Through this Ahmad educates clients about his city, whilst simultaneously giving an opportunity for other refugees to stand on their own two feet by providing them with catering skills and hands-on experience. In this in-depth discussion, we will be hearing more about the challenges he has overcome as a refugee entrepreneur in the UK, as well as his views on the Aleppo of the past, and the Aleppo of the future.
TERN are The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network.
