Japan: Myths to Manga

In this workshop, you will work with museum staff Julia Josephson to create your own emakimono, a traditional Japanese form of visual storytelling. Explore the V&A's collection objects to make a story and turn it into a story scroll by using collage and illustration.
This is a family event and adults are required to participate along their children.

Booking information:
• This is a family workshop, where adults are required to participate along their children.
• We recommend the ratio to be at least one adult per three children. We are not able to accommodate more than one adult per group.
• This workshop is recommended for children aged 8+. We regret that we cannot allow younger siblings without tickets in the workshop room.
• Please let the V&A know if you have specific access requirements.
• If you are no longer able to attend, please kindly let the V&A know so we can release your places. Unfortunately, we are only able to offer refunds in exceptional circumstances.
• If the V&A needs to cancel the event due to an emergency, or for any reason beyond the control of the V&A, we will reschedule your booking for a later date or offer a refund.
