Discover how performance can both benefit from and inspire a deeper appreciation for craft with speakers Alberto Cavalli (Executive Director Michelangelo Foundation), Catherine Martin Luhrmann (four-time Oscar winner for costume and set design), and Sophie Lambe (Theatrical Milliner for Film and TV), moderated by Camilla Frances (Digital Editorial Director at Cabana Magazine).
 
The Renaissance of Material Craft in Fashion
What is the role of craft in the future of luxury? Fashion often celebrates the finished product, but the expertise and skill behind luxury materials is equally important. This panel, chaired by Kati Chitracorn (Style Editor for CNN and Luxury Consultant for the FT) includes Matteo De Rosa (LVMH Metiers d’Art), Sarah Coonan (Managing Director, Liberty London) and Sonnet Stanfill (Senior Curator, Textiles and Fashion, Victoria & Albert Museum). They will discuss the key drivers of the sector going forward and the crucial role of craft within this - from quality and sustainability to exciting material innovations.

Craftland: a journey through Britain’s lost arts and vanishing trades with James Fox
James Fox has dedicated the last three years to traveling the British Isles in search of the country’s manufacturing heritage. James will discuss some of the nation’s endangered crafts, including tanning, bell-founding, wheelwrighting, and watchmaking.
 
Holy Sheet: Artist Talk with Elliot Walker
Glassmaker Elliot Walker will share the importance of traditional sheet glass making as a craft and how he intends to use and explore the process, physically and conceptually in his work.
