Join us to listen to Grammy award winning musician Kayhan Kalhor on the kamancheh (spiked fiddle). Accompanied by Adib Rostami on the tombak (drum), the performance will be a distinctively modern interpretation of traditional elements.

Today, Kalhor is one of Iran’s best-known musicians, having been instrumental in the popularisation of Persian music around the globe. He is also an original member of Yo-Yo Ma’s Silkroad Ensemble, a collective he still performs with and composes for.

Doors open at 18.00 for an 18.30 start. The performance will last 70 minutes and will be followed by a drinks reception.
