Sir Paul Smith has epitomised the unique spirit of British fashion for five decades. Join him online in conversation with editor Tony Chambers as he celebrates this special anniversary, as well as the publication of his new Phaidon monograph, with a look at some of the key objects that have influenced his creative process. From a wax plate of spaghetti to a Dieter Rams radio, each object has impacted his worldview and contributed to a design approach that's always imbued with distinctly British wit and eccentricity.
In association with Phaidon; signed copies of 'Paul Smith' are available to buy through the V&A online shop (link to the right).
Tickets are currently priority booking for Members; general booking will open Monday 9 November, subject to availability.
