Adorn your doorway with an everlasting sprig of mistletoe and greet every festive visitor with a kiss. With golden and green-toned leaves and plump round berries, the decoration would also look lovely hanging from the branches of your Christmas tree. Cleverly crafted from metal, the mistletoe can be enjoyed again year after year.
Mistletoe has been hung inside as a symbol of good luck and protection since the time of the Ancient Druids. The custom of kissing under the mistletoe is first recorded in a comic opera dating from 1784 and was popularised in the Victorian era; a romantic match blooms under the mistletoe in Charles Dickens' The Pickwick Papers.
