With its vibrant red colour and bright yellow accents, this delightful 3D bird lends a cosy nostalgic feel perfect for Christmas time. The durable board bird is made from 100% recycled paper printed by hand with a characterful design. Perch the bird on the mantelpiece, place it at the centre of the table or hang it from the tree – the bird has a flat tummy that allows it to stand upright.
Print and design studio East End Press was founded in Glasgow in 2015 by Ellie Hodesdon. Playful designs inspired by folk art and children's tales are sent to Jaipur, India, to be constructed and silk screen-printed by hand under Fair Trade conditions using colourful inks and recycled materials.
