Stop and smell the roses with this enchanting decoration, a perfect reminder to relax and enjoy the busy Christmas period. Exquisitely handcrafted by Fair Trade artisans, the decoration captures the classic beauty of the flower, with delicate petals outlined in metallic embroidery atop colourful leaves.
The decoration is made using the traditional method of zardozi embroidery, zar meaning gold and dozi meaning sewing; the ornate craft of hand embroidery with metallic threads originated in Persia, reaching India in the 12th century, and is still practised across the subcontinent.
St. Nicolas is a small London-based brand dedicated to designing original, interesting and meaningful keepsakes. The company has worked with a family-run business in Northern India since 1999, creating Fair Trade decorations using the ancient zardozi embroidery technique.

- Items that have been sealed for hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken, such as beauty products, soap, pierced earrings, hosiery, socks, sunglasses and face coverings;
- Perishable or edible items such as flowers or food;
- Memberships, tickets for exhibitions, bookings for events and courses.
