Count down to Christmas with this enchanting advent calendar, created exclusively for the V&A by illustrator and ceramicist Polly Fern. The beautifully illustrated cut-out design recreates the museum's iconic Cromwell Road façade beneath a pale winter sky, opening to reveal the V&A's magnificent marble foyer dressed in festive splendour.
Inside, Christmas trees sparkle, wreaths adorn the galleries, and the busts of Victoria and Albert sport playful party hats, while charming characters celebrate across the upper balcony. Behind each numbered door awaits a delightful surprise, with Polly Fern's whimsical illustrations inspired by treasures from the V&A's collections, from fashion and jewellery to ceramics and decorative arts.
Polly Fern has collaborated with the V&A to create a Christmas collection based on her whimsical illustrations of the V&A South Kensington's Cromwell Road entrance and marble foyer in full festive splendour.
