Details

A textile design from the museum archives reimagined as contemporary streetwear, this hoodie was exclusively created in collaboration between V&A East and London fashion designers Imprint Works.

The image on the hoodie is inspired by Design for Silk, a delicate work created around 1735 by Anna Maria Garthwaite, who lived and worked in Spitalfields, East London.

Independent local design studio Imprint Works have given the pattern a bold update on this digitally printed heavyweight organic cotton hoodie, with a front chest piece and large print on the back.
