Streetwear with an 18th-century twist. This exclusive set includes a practical and stylish tote bag and an embroidered cap.
Both are made from organic cotton and designed and printed in London by fashion designers Imprint Works.
The designs reimagine a delicate pattern created around 1735 by Anna Maria Garthwaite, who lived and worked in Spitalfields, East London.
The tote bag has a single handle long enough to be worn over the shoulder and closes with a central snap button.
Each bag features a unique selection of mixed media appliqué patches, with slight differences making each piece unique. Every patch comes from leftover fabrics rescued from the development and sampling stages, turning unused scraps into a zero‑waste collection where no two pieces are ever the same.

- Items that have been sealed for hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken, such as beauty products, soap, pierced earrings, hosiery, socks, sunglasses and face coverings;
- Perishable or edible items such as flowers or food;
- Memberships, tickets for exhibitions, bookings for events and courses.

The V&A have collaborated with Imprint Works to create a dynamic range drawing on designs from the V&A East museum collection.
