Known for its exquisite crunch and intense sweetness, the candy has been crafted in Turkey from 100% natural ingredients using century-old techniques passed down through generations.
Beautifully packaged in a vibrant striped tin, the Akide candy is perfect for any occasion: ideal for parties and celebrations or a lovely gift. Alternatively, treat yourself and enjoy the sweets with a cup of Turkish coffee before reusing the tin at home.
Building on the legacy of his grandfather, who opened a confectionery shop in Istanbul in 1807 that was later destroyed by fire, Cafer Erol set up his own shop in the same district in 1935. Now run by Cafer’s son and grandchildren, the company continues to produce vibrant sweets, decadent chocolates and dozens of flavours of Turkish delight alongside traditional coffee, tea and fragrances.
